Return & Refund Policy

At Laptop Mechanic (Laptop Spares), we want to ensure a transparent experience. Please read our return guidelines below, which apply to all purchases.

1. Return Period

No goods returned after 30 days from the date of departure from Laptop Mechanic’s premises will be accepted for credit or refund.

2. Condition of Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

• Must be in original packaging and in a resalable condition.
• Warranty seals must be intact and untampered with.
• Items must not be damaged, rusted, or show signs of finger marks/scratches.
• For laptop screens: All plastic protectors must be in place; mounting brackets/plates and external circuit boards must be in their original position and not bent in any way.

3. Fees and Costs

• Handling Fee: Laptop Mechanic reserves the right to charge a handling fee of up to 15% (fifteen percent) on the invoice value of the goods returned or for a canceled order.
• Shipping: Initial shipping fees and delivery costs are non-refundable. All costs for returning goods to our premises are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Warranty & Defective Items

Faulty goods returned under warranty will be either exchanged for a replacement unit or repaired to a working condition. Warranty periods vary by product category:

*Note: LCD panels are A+ grade and covered for dead/color pixels only if reported immediately upon receipt.

5. How to Initiate a Return

Please contact us with your original quotation, sales order, or invoice number as a reference. Items must be returned to our office premises for thorough inspection and examination before any credit or exchange is processed.
